Nature Caught Moving - 2013

An animated landscape made from
hundreds of iPhone finger-drawings of nature ‘caught’ in and around the city.

Nature Caught Moving is a animated landscape completely made up of finger drawings of 'nature' found in and around the city. Although it was made in the urban environment with only digital means (iPhone and computer), the result is surprisingly 'natural'.

(18' loop, prefered projection 3 x 2 m)

A first version of this project was shown at Nest, Den Haag, Group Show, August 2011
(In the local newspaper the exhibition and this work were described: Summernest in Den Haag Centraal)

A selection of the iphone drawings was published in Dutch Literary Magazine 'Extaze' (2013)

Contact me if you are interested in showing the animation, I will send you a link with a preview.
